The Friary – Beauly

Situated 10 miles from the capital Inverness, on the North Coast 500 tourist route lies the beautiful village of Beauly.


Located in the traditional village square is the Friary Fish and Chip Shop.


We serve fish and chips using high quality sustainably sourced ingredients, delicious burgers from a local supplier, hearty homemade daily specials and lots of traditional chip shop delights. 


Whether you're craving classic fish and chips or something more indulgent, The Friary promises a meal that's satisfying and memorable.

Found in the square in Beauly just outside Inverness on the NC500 - a small family run chip shop - very friendly - fresh fish and good menu of other options. Can be busy and worth calling ahead of time. Best chip shop and friendliest of staff for miles,

King rib supper was great the chips the best I've had in a long time ..my son's batter sausage supper was gone in seconds he loved it and my daughter's chicken nuggets chips and curry sauce went down very well 💯% will be back ..staff and owner were fabulous thanks again Roddy 👍👍👍 if you like a good supper this is the place 2 go 👍👍
